The Evening Herald School Sports Day section has kicked off once again for this year. All second level schools around the country are invited to send in match reports, player profiles etc each week. At the end of the school sports year, an exclusive awards ceremony takes place in Croke Pk for all sports students who won Sportstar of the week.
Any matches of importance may be covered by Evening Herald reporters and photographers.

Sinéad O’ Connor has been appointed Ard Stúirthóir of the Camogie Association following an intensive selection process. She will take over the role with immediate effect.

The nominees for this year’s Camogie Young Player of the Year and for the Camogie Manager of the Year were announced today.

ASMT has been appointed by Cumann Camógaíochta na nGael to examine the structures, communications and image of the Association.

A sub-group of Ardcomhairle has been tasked with examining An Treoraí Oifigiúil with a view to updating the Camogie Associations’ Constitution and the non-playing Rules.  As part of this examination we would welcome input from all units of the Association.  In this context we would kindly ask that you complete this short questionnaire to help us in our task.
