Saturday March 7th
Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues Division 1

Group 1
Clare v Waterford
Clare are sitting on top of Group 1 after two rounds of matches with the Banner women claiming two victories to date. Those victories came against Offaly and Kilkenny respectively. They welcome a Waterford side to Cratloe who have experienced a contrasting start to their league campaign with one draw (Offaly) and one defeat (Cork) so far. Progression will be high on the agenda for the home side, while Waterford will need to pick up a win to gather some momentum within the group.

Sunday March 8th
Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues Division 1

Group 1
Cork v Kilkenny
It is a rivalry in our sport like no other and once again, Cork and Kilkenny will go head-to-head in national competition. Due to the diverse weather conditions over the last number of weeks, this is only Cork’s second fixture in their League campaign having started off in good fashion with a win over Waterford in the opening round. Kilkenny have won one (Offaly) and lost one (Clare) in their path to date but victory on the road to the Rebels today would go a long way to building confidence within the group.

Venue: Páirc Uí Rinn

Group 2
Limerick v Dublin
It has been a difficult start to the league campaign for both of these teams with Limerick suffering two defeats from two matches (Tipperary & Galway) while the Dubs also suffered the same fate. The manner of the two defeats for Limerick was difficult to take as their opening round defeat was by a solitary point, while Galway won 4-13 to 0-7 in their victory over the Treaty County. Dublin have had close encounters in their matches with a three-point and a six-point defeat in their games.

Galway v Tipperary
The top two in Group 2 go head-to-head this Sunday after impressive starts to their respective campaigns. The reigning champions Galway, defeated Dublin on the road in their opening round clash before a home demolition of Limerick followed. Tipperary battled for a one-point victory against Limerick in their opening round before securing their first home win of the season to Dublin in the following fixture. It will be a winner takes all battle to see who will progress to the League final with victory this weekend.
